A Norwalk crew with a simple idea
Moving and hauling should not cost a fortune. That idea is in the name. We keep prices fair, tell you the number up front, and do the heavy work ourselves.
Who we are
Afford It Services is a local company based at 64 Wall Street in Norwalk. We started with moving and junk removal, and added the jobs our customers kept asking for: cleanouts, debris hauling, furniture assembly and barrel pickup for families shipping goods overseas.
We work across Fairfield County, New Haven County, Westchester and the Bronx. Most of our jobs are within half an hour of Wall Street.
How we work
- You get the price before we start, not after the truck is loaded.
- If we are running late, you hear it from us before you have to call.
- We treat your home and your furniture like they are ours.
- We leave the space swept and the driveway clear.
What a job with us looks like
It starts with a text or a call. Send a few photos of what needs to go, or tell us about the move, and we come back with a price. If the job is big, like a full house or an office, we may ask to see it first. Once you say yes, we book a time that works for you.
On the day, the crew carries everything out from wherever it is: the third floor, the back of the basement, the far corner of the yard. Furniture that is moving gets wrapped. Items that are leaving get loaded and hauled. When we finish, we sweep the spot where things were and walk through with you before the truck pulls away.
Who we work with
Homeowners and renters, mostly. We also work for families handling an estate, real estate agents getting a house ready to list, landlords turning over an apartment, contractors who need debris gone between stages, and small businesses moving offices. Many of our neighbors also book us to carry shipping barrels to the shipping station.
Where we work
Our home base is Wall Street in Norwalk. From there we cover Fairfield County, New Haven County, Westchester and the Bronx. See our locations page for the towns we visit most, with notes on each town's own bulky waste rules.
